Designer Toys / Urban Vinyl / Dunny

Deutsche Version

group picture of my 3-inch Dunnys

One of the most popular Designer Toy figures is Dunny. Unfortunately the idiots from the German Wikipedia are constantly deleting my article, arguing that it is not relevant (what actually it means to be relevant, they don't explain anywhere - and I'm also wondering why the article in the English Wikipedia is relevant enough to remain). So I can only refer to the English Wikipedia article about Dunny. You're welcome to vote for the re-activation of the German article!

And: In case you incidentally meet or know one of these fucking German Wikipedia idiot wankers, you have my blessings to slap them. !!!This is no call for violence!!!

And although I conducted at some point, not to buy any more Dunnys (because if you go for every Dunny you like, you will soon have nothing else than Dunnys in your shelf), I have a small Dunny collection you can see from the following pictures:

Dunny 3-inch

There are Dunnys in 3-inch and 8-inch tall (for those of you who don't know: 3 inch is about 7,5cm). Most of the figures are 3-inch, but I can proudly call three of the big Dunnys my own. But here, for a start, the small ones first:

Dunny by Huck Gee from 2nd series (front side)

Dunny by Huck Gee from 2nd series (back side)

Dunny by Kozik from 2nd series

Series 2

These two Dunny were among the first I ever had. I ordered them somewhere in UK for a quite high price, but it was worth it!!! But see yourself:

Dunny by CW from 3rd series

Dunny by Damon Soule from 3rd series (helmet off)

Dunny by Damon Soule from 3rd series (helmet on)

Series 3

From the third series, there is this Dunny with the helmet or gas mask or whatever that is by Damon Soule - this one is absolutely hilarious. Unfortunately, the helmet has some overbalance towards the front side, so that the figure permanently tumbles down. In order that he does not feel so alone, I ordered another Dunny from this series together with him.

Dunny by Joe Ledbetter from 4th series

Dunny by Mad from 4th series

Dunny by Thomas Hahn from 4th series

Dunny by Gary Baseman from 4th series (front side)

Dunny by Gary Baseman from 4th series (back side)

Series 4

Apart from the Baseman Dunny, I have purchased most of my Dunnys from the 4th series as blind boxed. This is the reason why I have another one by Thomas Han (as I have from the L.A. Series).

Dunny by Aya Kakeda from 5th series (with pudding on its head)

Dunny by Clutter from 5th series (front side)

Dunny by Clutter from 5th series (back side)

Series 5

Two of my absolute favourites! Furthermore, my second figure with a pudding on its head (check also Mellow). And the pirate lady is just about the limit. Although both figures are not so rare, I absolutely like and needed them!!!

Dunny by Thomas Han from L.A. Series (front side)

Dunny by Thomas Han from L.A. Series (back side- pay attention to the nice pill on its back)

Dunny by Blaine Fontana from L.A. Series

L.A. Series

In the L.A. Series, there are also really great figures. However, it was up-to-date during the time when I was intending not to purchase any more Dunnys ever again, just because there are so many of them which are gorgeous and which you'd like to call your own. So, I purchased these two fellows as sale items.

Dunny by Der from the French Series (with baguette and red wine bottle)

Dunny by Nasty from the French Series

Dunny by Tizieu from the French Series (with self made accessory ;) )

French Series

Two of my absolute favourite Dunnys (the one with the baguette and the one with the cassette deck) are from the French Series from 2008, which I generally like very much anyway.

Horvath Dunny from 2-Face Series (1. side)

Horvath Dunny from 2-Face Series (2. side)

Reindeer Dunny by Chuckboy

Mixed Dunnys

The green fellow here was actually my first Dunny, if I remember correctly. Not a burner, but I purchased him as a blind box anyway. However, the reindeer Dunny by Chuckboy is a real cutie (and at the moment - Jan 2009 - my lasted one).

8-inch Dunnys

Doma Dunny (red)

Dunny from Jeremyville (front side)

Dunny from Jeremyville (back side)

Uncle Bucky from Three Bears series

As already mentioned in the beginning, besides the 3-inch Dunnys, there are also 8-inch Dunnys. Of these "giants", I can proudly call three my own, of which the one from Doma was the first. I specially like the texture on this one, just as I do on the Dunny from Jeremyville, which tells an entire comic story (Nightmare in Jeremyville) and which comes with a very lovely plastic carrot. Not to mention Uncle Bucky from the Three Bears series (with fishing rod and pipe).
